"THE EARTH SHIP" 1997.

Project for kinetic, outdoor sculpture; 1400 x 1100 x 700 cm. Steel construction, heavy plastic, aircraft cable, heavy fabric, and transmission with reduction gears. Outside structure of orange fabric hangs freely from the construction and is moved back and forth by the wind. It propels blank cylinder put in the middle by the system of gears, so cylinder completes one vertical rotation (360o) from a few dozen hours to a few months. The project should be realized in an open, no urban landscape so whole globe space in a little more evident way would stay under influence of an art message. Another objective could put emphasis on the unity of the Cosmos energy, which man is a part of as well. Model in 1:7 scale.
