SKY REACHING SCULPTURE

These projects which I call “One-Day Sculpture” are floating in the air using gas like helium or hydrogen in combination with light wood construction are examples of ‘open systems’ being the antithesis of ‘closed systems’, of forms made to resemble and depend to a large extent on natural factors like wind and the sun. In these projects dynamic, unpredictable nature is being used as a "Ready-made" form and as a necessary and complementary context as well.
