“DESERT HOUSE” 2010. 

This project is designed for a public realm for visitors to interact with. Sculpture is designed out of layers and overall form might resemble a combination of the shape of a house and a tree you can look through. On all layers wide range of species of plants are applied on bipolar rule directly on prepared ground or on Eco roof membrane. Spectator will be able to enter inside the structure and observe exterior and the sky through gaps and openings of the sculpture. On upper layers there might be some solar panels installed which produce electricity to power up LED lights maintained inside the structure. Inside the structure microclimate is generated by plants which effects with lower temperature and higher humidity in compare to the vicinity of the sculpture. Water is delivered by automatic water pipe system deployed on every layer of the sculpture.
Proposed minimum dimensions: 550 height x 950 depth x 900 cm.
